when first setting the face counts, then selecting the shape, the menu closes without warning

Description

I was setting up the GUI-MENU for creating a new shape, so i first set the x/y/subdiv values by hand (actually by mouse).

Then i tried to select a "plane" shape. As soon as i selected the plane, the menu closed and no object was created. Essentially i have seen the same behaviour as the last weeks  where the GUI was not at all useable on Windows.

Workaround: First select the shape type, then modify the parameters, then press the "build" button.

I can confirm the same behaviours here. I noticed the first behaviour but didn't think it was a bug, but a fix to get things on the road. The second I didn't notice it at all I always choose first the shape and then I change the geometry settings, but yeah it behaves as Gaia mentioned.
