Previously known as the rc scripts, this is the stable version of the scripts before the 0.9.x major rewrite took place. Until the 0.9.x releases are considered stable (a release without -git on the end), it's the recommended version for new users and everyday use.

I have Blender v. 2.49b on my mac, can i just use the primstar for v.2.49a instead?

Blender 2.49a or later

Yes, the versions listed are the minimum ones that a version of Primstar needs, so 2.49b is fine. The Blender 2.5 series isn't script compatible with earlier versions so 2.49b is the latest supported version.

In world primstar

Is there a place I can find primstar in world?

Why?

Why would you need to get RL scripts for an RL program delivered in SL? Even if delivered as notecards, you'd have to copy the text from them, create a text document on your computer, paste in the text and then make sure you named it right. That sounds like a LOT of extra unnecessary work to me.
