Primstar/Blender/iMac

Hi Everyone, I'm really new to all this.  I've played with Blender on my laptop which runs Windows but now I'm trying to get it to work for serious on my new iMac.  I have to create some sculpties for the work I'm doing in Second Life.  However, I keep running into problems with setting it up.  I'm not a programmer so please be patient with me :-)  I can get the Import/Export to show the Second Life options and I can get the Build menu to come up when I request Add> Mesh> Sculpt Mesh.  When I get the Build menu, even if I change nothing in it, the screen

Primstar in OpenGrid

Hello and sorry for my bad english language ...

I work with Blender (more and more ) and like to use Primstar also in a OpenGrid. Now I have change the UUID for the cube/box/crate that help a bit but I must switch off  "llRemoveInventory( tS = llGetScriptName() );". Now it rezz correct Dimension bur it work not 100 % like in sl. Is ist possible to make a Version for OpenGrid ? 

I have for the crate in my OpenGrid the UUID e45b5936-82cf-4c83-b9ee-bd4fa19b2248

Blender locks up after creating Sculpt Mesh with primstar 0.9.31 or 0.9.30

I have been using the primstar 0.5 scripts with no problem, but after updating to 0.9.31, blender just locks up as soon as I create a sculpt mesh. I can quit the program but I can't get past this point.

I am on a Mac Pro running OS X 10.6.2. This problem also occurs on my Macbook Pro laptop which has the same operating system version, but different CPU version and completely different GPU.

The error I get in console is:

sculpt map issue - LOD? image size issue? - considerations for my Rockbiter project

I am experiencing an issue that i am not familiar with, and wondering what I have done wrong and what I can do both to fix it, as well as to avoid the same issue in the future. This project is an animated creature I would like to make for a friend's theme sim - the Rockbiter from 'The Neverending Story'.

Wondering where Primstar 0.9.17 has got to? Well it's a lot closer. I've just committed the last bit of coding on the new export_lsl.py

It's pretty much a complete rewrite and as yet, the LSL is untested, though my eyeball tests have already spotted one bug in the sizing code which needs fixing before 0.9.17 can be released.

Change of License

I've changed the license of the generated LSL builder script to the more permissive Creative Commons by Attribution. For the majority of people this won't make any difference. Just a few extra lines to copy and paste.

Yet another Primstar baker rewrite!

I've been hard at work today on rewriting the baker. As tends to happen when I add new features it promotes discussion and questions that lead to more feature ideas. This time a seed planted by Razz Welles when talking about joined meshes combined with fixing this bug has led to another redesign of the code underlying the Primstar sculptie baker.
